Made a detour to have lunch here and it was so worth it. The Brisket sandwich and some potato salad. Oh my gosh. This sandwich is so good can stand not to have sauce on it. A very big sandwich served here in a time when others have gone smaller. Very very glad we came here. Sure hope to return. Fast word to July 24 and the opportunity to stop by and enjoy this wonderful place. Had the loin sandwich and a brisket sandwich and my gosh I think the loin sandwich is the hidden gem of the menu. Cash only but this was such a relief to find the quality is top notch! The prices are more than reasonable and the flavor is overwhelming. I've been padt here many times and regret not trying it sooner. The bologna is amazing and the chicken plate is a steal. Highly recommend eating here and if you're disappointed, your taste buds are broken!
First visit here and I had the BBQ Bologna sandwich, and it was terrific! At 2 inches thick, it was a bologna burger! The sauce did not disappoint either, mildly spicy and just enough tang.
I have always frequented Hillbilly BBQ when I worked in Wickliffe. So when I started my new job and we were having a ROADEO, I immediately booked them to come provide our food. Everyone loved them so much we are having them again for our ROADEO in September because I wanted to make sure they wasn’t already booked. Not only is the food so good (thank you, Logan Northington), but Madison DeRouse is such an awesome person to deal with when booking them and when they set up. From start to finish they are true professionals and it makes my job so much easier knowing that’s one less thing to worry about. If you haven’t already been here, or you’re having a get together, or work place luncheon, definitely check them out!!
